Anyone else actually remember using a rotary phone?

Okay - let's see how old y'all can make me feel. (ETA - Not old at all. And I want HotJupiters' phone.)

Who's seen Burt's post on the MP from earlier today?

Does anyone remember using a rotary? I'm not so old that they were the norm - that was a push-button phone for me, and I actually still have one as they are the shit when the power goes out.

But I can remember we had my Mom's favorite wall-mounted rotary phone in the kitchen (with the extra long handset cord so you could use it anywhere in the kitchen, as long as you were good keeping it cinched between your head and shoulder). Eventually it died and we replaced it with a push-button version. And one of my great aunts had one as well.
