I posted a rebuttal article to the idiotic viral video about motherhood that's been going on recently to my Facebook. A discussion ensued with another woman, which is pleasant enough. However, one thing threw me off:

"I know that if women stopped being bitchy crazy people, we could get the world in a better place but instead, we are so busy judging everyone's decisions that we fail."

I paused. "That paragraph is sexist."

Response: "Oh yes, it's completely sexist but that doesn't mean it isn't true. I work with a lot of women and help manage a lot of groups of what should be precessional women. The majority of the time, there is so much cattiness that they can't ever get things done for themselves. "

I don't know how to respond to these things.

I know women can be especially harsh on each other, but I think it's a symptom of being the underdogs - this mentality that only so many people of 'your kind' can make it, so you need to tear down those around you in order to make it yourself.

What do you guys think?
