I love lip gloss/stick/stain. I am particularly obsessed with the samplers that usually come out around Christmas (like the one below I bought from Tarte last year) so I always have a million tiny lip sticks lying around.
Today I was rooting around in my purse and found one I hadn't used in awhile, put it on, and I remembered how much I absolutely love this stuff. Which made me want to do a post about some of my favorite things, and find out about some of yours!
The lipstick today was Josie Maran Argan color stick in peony pink. I also have dusty rose, and highly recommend it. Why I love it: beautiful, subtle color; luscious, creamy, moisturizing feel; solid staying power; and a hint of mintiness that makes your breath taste fresh as you breath it. It's one of those color sticks that you are supposed to be able to wear on your cheeks as well, but I don't think it spreads as well as some other cream blushes. But as a lip stain: it is the beeeeeest.
Next up in the make-up-ish department: QTICA cuticle repair balm. It's always in my purse and I massage it in every morning. It's creamy, has a nice smell and isn't too oily. I feel like it's somewhere between a cuticle oil, which gets everywhere, and a lotion, which isn't quite enough for my dry cuticles. Plus it isn't too pricey, especially considering how little you use each time.
Along with that guy, everyone here should be using Tweezerman's cuticle cutters. These babies are pricey but, trust me, the first time you use them you'll never go back to the others again. They are amazing. Heavy duty, precise, and super easy to use.
Moving on from make-up: clothing.
Moving Comfort Juno sports bra. I'm not super large chested (34 C or D depending on the store) but I have really sensitive breasts. So I need something that allows for pretty much no movement, or OW! This is my favorite. It isn't easy to get off when you are sweaty, but otherwise, it's the perfect sports bra for me.
These JCrew pants. I own a pair in every color. It, sadly, looks like they may be discontinued but there are still a few colors left! I never have to hem them, they look fabulous with heels, they have a nice rise (not too low), and they are super comfortable.
Ebates! Oh my god, guys, are you doing ebates? Because I know it seems like a total scam, but it isn't. If you shop online, you should be doing ebates. Also I get credits if you sign up soooooo tell me in the comments and I'll get you my reference number. :)
Tradesy. It's where I get all my bags. They authenticate everything well and the customer service is top notch. I love nice bags and wallets but never want to pay full price (obviously). They have clothes and shoes, too, but I don't really look around those sections. But if you want a nice new bag or wallet, but are worried about getting scammed on ebay, go to Tradesy!
I'm sure I could go on and on, but really I want to know: what are some of YOUR favorite things? Categories do not have to be limited to those listed here, obviously.
And now I shall finish this post with pictures of fabulous animals who, no doubt, have many favorite things:
