Last week we talked about what books we've read the most often and Archnemesis Goldenhair suggested I ask you which book you own the most copies of. So how about it? Do you own multiple copies of the same book? Why?

I accidentally had two copies of Pattern Recognition for awhile because I forgot I had one when I saw a practically new copy at a garage sale but I donated one to the Friends of the Library sale. There are a couple copies of Dune around the house - a nice hardcover for posterity and a battered paperback that I picked up to take on a trip. Mrs. Hatrack has probably half a dozen Bibles but she can only read two of them since the others are antique foreign language editions. I'm also sorely tempted to get another copy of Fahrenheit 451 every time I'm at the bookstore because of this beautiful cover:
