I am questioning if I am imposing too much gender roles on my daughter even at her current young age... Does anyone else feel this way?

My daughter is 1 so obviously she has no concept of gender at this point. We dress her in polka dots and stripes of all colors and she rarely wears pink or has anything princess themed. Almost all her toys are gender neutral just so we can keep them for our next kid. She has her thomas the train and she has pink kitchen. Honestly, cost dictates more than anything else. We buy everything secondhand. I guess what got me thinking is I am going to turn her room into a room for a toddler when we get to OK. I am doing a ballerina theme. With Degas pictures and cute dancer bedding. But what if she doesn't want to be a ballerina or wear her cute dress or be called princess? Because we want those things for her. I mean, when she is old enough she can tell us but what if we are influencing her now? Almost everything is gender specific for the newborn to preschool age.

I tell her she can be anything she wants. A lawyer. A SAHM. A poet. A student. A mechanic. We just want her to be funny and happy. Blah, this parenting thing is hard.
