Random moments from the Twin Cities police blotter

These are all real, presented without comment:

Theft. A man stole a massager from Fantasy Gifts, 11055 Crooked Lake Blvd. NW.

Theft. An unknown person stole a basket full of crabs legs and ran out of Cub Foods, 585 Northtown Dr. NE.

Suspicious vehicle: Officers went to Discovery Center, 5050 Independence St., regarding a suspicious vehicle. The driver told officers he had stopped to listen to a good song on the radio.

Animal complaint: A woman reported that a cat has been coming to her house for the past few days on the 4800 block of Independence Street. She said she was feeding the cat. She was advised to let the cat go, stop feeding it and perhaps it would go back to its own home.

Theft. A person admitted to stealing eye drops from Cub Foods, 585 NE. Northtown Drive, stating that "It was just my mood today. That's why, no other reason."

Arson. A "port-o-john" was on fire at Greenfield Park, 2355 Hillview Road. Police put out the fire with extinguishers.

Neighbor issue. A man in the 10 block of 5th Avenue told a deputy his neighbor had been bothering him for two years. The deputy contacted the neighbor who had the same story, that the complainant had been harassing him for two years. No assaults or threats were reported by either party. They were advised to ignore each other and not have any contact.
