Subpoint 1: Nuts are practically a health food. Health food does not belong in baked goods. This also applies to raisins.

Subpoint 2: If there are nuts, then that means fewer chocolate chips and/or toffee bits. No thank you.

Subpoint 3: Usually the nuts used in baked goods are the soft ones, like brazilnuts, walnuts, or pecans and these tend to taste ashy and gross. Plus they cost a lot. I can buy more and/or better chocolate.

Note: This does not include nut-butters such as peanut butter or nutella. Those belong in baked goods.

Subnote 1: I would state that this also excludes entirely nut-based desserts. I.e., Baklava. I mostly hate sleeper nuts. I think I coined that phrase and am keeping it.
