You guys. It's almost time. Almost that magical couple weeks of the year when berries stop being tart disappointments and become the rainbow jewels of sunshine and fulfilled dreams that they were meant to be.
In Jersey, right now they're pretty good. Plenty good enough for chocolate covered strawberries and hot berry crumble with vanilla ice cream and berry pies and cakes with berry filling and the like.
But soon. Soon. IT SHALL BE A HOARD OF BERRIES UNRIVALED BY ANY. AND I WILL SHOVEL THEM INTO MY FACE.
