I'll bite. I read the whole body image thing on PR and while it made me uncomfortable, I'm also used to sitting down with people as they process their own insecurities and shifts in how they view themselves. Sometimes their inner monologue seems harsh but that's usually evident that they haven't quite worked through their own suffering. I'd say that there are times where we are all so fixated on how other people make us angry, we forget that they have their own struggles that are clouding their language and affecting their self-esteem, which is the location of the negative language, not privilege. We're all spending a lot of time yelling and piling on lately and I'm not exempt but man, I don't know sometimes. I think we're becoming harsh and unforgiving.
