I have never gotten why Starbucks is so beloved by many. Their espresso is so acidic that it feels like it eats through my stomach lining.
Over the years I've mostly been there when I had no better alternatives, like when I was trapped at an airport or on a business trip and Starbucks was better than the hotel for getting a halfway decent breakfast. Consequently I've only ever drunk either a tea or a latte macchiato.

Today I wanted something like a milkshake or an ice cream in the afternoon and knew that a Starbucks was on my way. Consequently I decided to try a frapuccino (coffee base, almond flavour, whole milk and whipped cream). Even though I got it in the middle size, grande or whatever it is called in their weird lingo, I could not finish it.
I'm no stranger to coffee and cake in the afternoon, after all I'm German, but this was like a coffee and two desserts all rolled in one. It was sort of tasty, but I don't think I'll have another one anytime soon. There's too much food and drinks out there which tastes better and doesn't feel like heart attack in a cup.
