Does anyone watch Switched at Birth? Have thoughts about it?

I dig the show more than a 30 year old is supposed to, but they've (re)introduced an veteran character and it seems to be a much more well nuanced version of post war service than I've ever seen on TV. It's pretty amazing. Seriously the line "Not everyone comes back damaged" is something you don't see represented on tv. So often Vets are represented as PTSD rage machines (which isn't even a really accurate representation of PTSD grrrrr) it's nice to see a show address that fact that almost everyone comes back changed, but not irreparably broken.
