I have found that "liking" local news channels have helped me keep more up to date on local happenings, and unfortunately I feel myself being drawn into discussions about things that I am passionate about. LGBTQ rights, immigration issues, education issues, etc.

Online Debate Etiquette

I like to ask for primary sources and peer reviewed science, and apparently that is VERY elitist and people should just have their own uninformed opinions. I know that correcting spelling is VERY condescending, but what are people's thoughts about using [sic] when quoting (and correcting) someone that is adamant that they are the smartest person?
